River tubing is popular the world over. It's pretty straight forward, you get an inflatable, a PFD (life jacket - important), a river, and you float down it. While the idea of tubing may make you think of a rubber ring; on this activity, we'll be using something called a turbo tube.
We'll take you there and back in our transport, drop you off at the location, pick you up after and give you some free time in the town of Paris, Ontario. While it's not it's French counterpart, it is still one of the prettiest towns in Ontario. River tubing lasts around 4-5 hours so make sure to pack some food, water, bring a hat and some sun screen if you need it. If you're not a strong swimmer, do not worry as the river is rather shallow in places and you have a life jacket. It is around 1m in depth, so if you're in trouble - stand up!
This is a 13km paddle through a wilderness landscape near Paris, Ontario. There are Bald Eagles in this valley. Along the way try paddling some easy splash… drink from freshwater springs… jump out of your tube to float 700m down the river… experience a place that is away from everything.
This tour will take place in our 15 passenger customized transit. Onboard we have a TV, basic WIFI, Games Console, Karaoke and more! However there is not a washroom. We will make washroom breaks every 1-2 hours.
